Tabledance
The women are says prominent tabledance intellectual Carlos Monsivais If men can go to tabledance joints why cant women do this The Full Monty has allowed them to enter into a debate over social come alive At least 25 Latino nightclubs in the Los Angeles area have discovered the formula for success Male strippers attract the women and the women attract the Latino men including their boyfriends and husbands But if the trend has won acceptance in California in tabledance its still about as rare as a tofu taco in Mexico Here debate over Mexi cos Full Monty show is furious Priests system and Recognition Systems has installed about systems worldwide in businesses ranging from child centers to health clubs company spokeswoman Helen Thomas said Both federal labs and private Industry need developments such as robotics advanced com puting and materials science to do their jobs Sandia and Goodyear Tire Rubber Co use this to the advan tage of both Together they solve fundamental science and engi neering problems then each side applies the solutions to its own Industry gets the advantage of taxpayer investment the lab gets the advantage of industry investment the Critics complain it is a form of corpo rate welfare with little to prove it works and few studies to quantify the results A 1995 study by a University of New Mexico researcher found positive results
